The Rules of the Lottery are as follows:

What is the 200 Club?The purpose of the Lottery is to raise funds for the sole benefit of Marlow Rugby Union Football Club ("the Club").
The 200 Club has been running or a number of years and is a well established fundraising body. It is independent from the Rugby Club, but exists to help support the club outside its core activities.
Club Membership is open to anyone over the age of 16 years. Current members are active and retired players, friends and family of players, and friends and supporters of the club.
To join it is just £15.00 per quarter by standing order or £60 per year by cheque.
Marlow RUFC - 200 Club Rules
The 200 club will hold quarterly draws a year in November, February, May and August with the value of total prize money totalling 50% of the receipts per annum, and we will draw for a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize at all 4 draws. The total prize fund will be split as follows:
1st Prize: 25% of the prize fund (this will be the first number drawn)
2nd Prize: 15% of the prize fund
3rd Prize: 10% of the prize fund.
In real terms if we have 200 members paying £15 per quarter the quarterly prize fund would be
1st Prize: £750 2nd Prize: £450 3rd Prize: £300
All you have to do is complete the attached application form authorising payment by standing order each month.
The Rules of the Lottery are as follows:
1. The name of the draw is the Marlow RUFC 200 Club ("the Lottery").
The Lottery will be administered by a Promoter appointed by the Management Committee of the Club. For 2016 this will be Mr. Stephen Goss
50% of the total annual subscriptions will be paid out in the form of prizes.
Prizes will be set on a pro rata basis based on the number of participants at the time of the quarterly draw.
The Lottery will be open to anybody aged 16 or over. A purchaser of a share becomes a participant in the Lottery. Participants are entitled to hold any number of shares.
The number of shares in the Lottery shall be unlimited and each share shall be allocated a unique number.. Participants may confirm the number of their allocated share(s) by contacting the Promoter – Mr. Stephen Goss
The subscription for each share is £15 per quarter payable monthly in advance by standing order. Participants may also pay £60 annually in advance by cheque (made payable to "Marlow RUFC Ltd").
There shall be a draw made quarterly (November, February, May and August) using an automatic random number generator or other such means as the Promoter deems appropriate. All participants are entitled to attend the draws, which must be held in the presence of at least 2 members of the Club Management Committee on such occasions and times as the Promoter shall deem appropriate. Quarterly prize winning numbers will be drawn in the following order: 1st prize, 2nd prize and 3rd prize.
Winners will be paid by cheque, which will be sent to the last known address held by the promoter. It is the responsibility of the participant to advise the Promoter of any change of address. Any prize cheque not cashed within 6 months may be deemed a donation to the Club. A list of prize winning numbers will be published on the Club website.
The Promoter will not pay a prize to any Participant other than the purchaser of a winning share.
No Lottery participant will be included in the draw if the subscription has not been received. It is the responsibility of each Participant to make sure they have paid their subscription. The Promoter reserves the right to reallocate any number where payment has not been received.
Participants can cancel their entry in the Lottery at any time by giving one month's written notice to the Promoter. Any decision by the Club to end the lottery will also be by one month's notice to all Participants.
Under no circumstances can subscriptions be refunded.
The Promoter will determine any dispute. An appeal may be made to the Club Management Committee whose decision shall be final.
The Lottery is intended to be a Small Society Lottery under the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 Section 19.
MRUFC may amend or vary the rules of the lottery at any time. The rules of the Lottery will be available via the Club website. Changes will be notified to Participants via the Club website.
