Marlow RUFC Management Roles - AGM

Please get involved next season and help us realise our plans

Dear Member

We want the 2019/20 season to be defining for our Club. A working group of members is helping us define our vision and plans for next season and into the future. I'm confident that the combination of the ideas being developed, the energy of those involved and the assets the club has will allow us to create realisable plans that will make ours the stand out Rugby Club in the area. However, those plans won't be realised without the right management and volunteer resource. My appeal to those members who have the time and skillsets to help is to please get involved next season.

Officer Roles

A feature of our constitution is that the membership elect officers to the Management Committee each season to lead, manage and make decisions. These elections will be held at the AGM on Thursday 9th May. The Club is very fortunate to have some incredibly dedicated officers who have significant skills and experience from their work lives they use to benefit the Club. The Committee can always be strengthened further by additional talent and new ideas. Any member (proposed and seconded by another member) can stand for election for any of the below roles. Each has a role description which I can share. Qualities required for those roles include good leadership and basic management skills (ability to plan, organise etc). You should also be comfortable with managing change! Please contact me if you would like to enquire (details below)

Volunteer Management Roles

In addition to the Committee roles there are also a number of vacant roles/skillsets we desperately need to help The Management Committee deliver its plans. These are across rugby, marketing, commercial and general management functions and include:

Health, Safety & Environment Manager
Schools/College Liaison
Commercial Managers X 2 (for Sponsorship and Trading Operations)
Medical Services Manager
Fixtures Secretary
Major Events Manager
Social Events Organiser (s)
Marketing Campaign Manager (s)
Social Media campaign expert(s)
Photographers
Database manager (s)
